In all cases, there is an extruder who manufactures the lengths of frame sections. They have carried out all the research and testing and provide manufacturers with strict assembly criteria. Boyland Windows use VEKA for our UPVC windows and ALUK for our Aluminium windows. There are many in the market, but we deem these to be the best.
These are then sent to a manufacturer, who cuts the bar lengths and manufacturers the windows and doors, fitting the ironmongery and supplying the double-glazed units. We have partnered with our manufacturers for over 10 years and have found their customer service and quality to be exceptional.
The manufacturer then delivers them to us and as the installer, we would be your point of contact for the project. Boyland Windows are responsible for making sure the windows are the correct sizes, fitted to the manufacturer’s instructions and specified to be FENSA compliant.
We will pass on the manufacturer’s guarantees and are your legal contact. Boyland Windows will deal with any issues and refer back to the manufacturers.
It sounds complicated but is a very smooth transaction between the parties that you would never really notice.
